tridimage wins two Vertex Awards
Here at tridimage, we know that our own brand packaging design work seduces consumers and increases sales because our clients tell us. It’s always nice to get an extra pat on the back though, and this year we’ve had two, in the form of a double win at the prestigious Vertex Awards.
We took home a Silver Vertex Award for our work on the Christmas panettone range for El Corte Inglés in Spain and a Bronze Vertex for our designs for El Club del Gourmet cured fish line.
The Vertex Awards are the only global competition devoted exclusively to the art of private brand package design and to be recognised by such a prestigious body is an honor.
Hernán Braberman, executive director of design at tridimage comments: ““Winning two awards in such a globally respected and prestigious design competition is tremendous and our team is exceptionally proud of this achievement.”
The Vertex Awards jury is composed of highly respected and experienced branding and package design professionals, handpicked from the private brand industry around the world. Guillermo Dufranc, Project Manager at tridimage, was part of the spectacular panel of 18 experts, who have evaluated the best designs for their creativity, sales capacity and innovation, which are part of the recently published book: Vertex Awards Volume V: International Private Brand Design Competition.
The awards ceremony took place in Amsterdam as part of the PLMA International show accompanied by an exhibition in New York City. This year’s contest included more than 400 entries from 27 countries and 49 retailers from around the world. “The Vertex Awards celebrate the best and most innovative private label packaging,” said Christopher Durham, co-founder of the Vertex Awards. “In the last five years, The Vertex Awards have become the driving force for advancing private label design.”
Previous winners include retailers such as Tesco, Kroger, 7-Eleven, Aldi, Boxed, Woolworths, Giant, Lidl, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Jumbo, Marks & Spencer, Target, The Home Depot, Walmart and Wegmans, among others.
